Here today to share with you my Word Up Weekend card for Stampotique

For my card this week I have used the lovely stamps from Stampotique
I adore using there stamps they really bring fun into Crafting

I really truly love this stamp it's actually 2 stamps in one as you get the sentiment on the side of the stamp

I also used Other stamps on the background which are
Cracks
Honeycomb
Splatter blob

I coloured up using Distress Ink refils
The background was made using Distress Oxides
Sparkly Glitter was used on her crown and wings

Finished of with some highlights and doodling using Posca Pens

This time the challenge is

Something Funny

I find there are so many funny stamps at Stampotique I am always having a giggle at what I am creating or have seen in the store

This week I have chosen to work with

Jasmin

How adorable is she

The sentiment suited her loads I think

This is from Octopus Quotes Cube

I have used Distress Oxides on the background and coloured Jasmin in matching Distress Ink refils

I used the refils to colour some texture paste to match and worked through some stencils

I then carried on using matching inks and used the following stamp on the background

Texture Cube 1

This really is my go to background stamp

I do hope my little card has given you a giggle

For my card this week I have used the lovely stamps from Stampotique
Safina 
3 Daisies
Sentiment ~ Peace and Love

I coloured up Safina and the Daisies with Distress Ink Refils 
Using Distress Oxide ink in the background matching the same colours

I used a little glossy accents to the Daisy centers
And some small speckles of Nuvo drops to Safina

Stamped out the sentiment and added some colour
Doodled a border and my card was good to go
I love how Safina has turned out so much so I have another card in the making

This time the challenge is

Add Wings or Create With Wings

And Now I was feeling in an orange mood

Orange is the color of joy and creativity. Orange promotes a sense of general wellness and emotional energy that should be shared, such as compassion, passion, and warmth. Orange will help a person recover from disappointments, a wounded heart, or a blow to one’s pride.

I used some Gesso  on a canvas board and then coated using dylusions ink spray ~ Squeezed Orange.

I used a ray stencil on which I used Pinflair Gellitex I love the sparkle this gives (although hard to pick up with my little camera)

I used 

Background Stamp's  ~ Splatter Blob

                                         ~Texture Cube 1

I also used some sequin waste and random bottle tops

The main stamp The Queen of Everything ~ I adore her, she comes with the sentiment 

She has one set of wings but as the challenge was about wings I gave her two more sets

I coloured her using Distress Ink Refils and used some nuvo drops on her crown

I used a soft yellow Distress oxide as the base

and then stamped over using

Flower Power

Believe

I then used a darker shade of yellow Oxides

and the stencils came out to play

totally in love with the feather and butterfly

I then doodled round

and used a few bits from the 

Posy Doodles Splash of Summer

For my card today the team were asked to use the theme
Case a fellow team mates card
I had never done this before but what a great challenge!!
I cased the lovely Julia's card that you can find here to see how I did.

I used the lovely stamp set
Having a Giraffe 
and coloured up using distress inks
Once coloured I used a Micron pen and doodled around the edges

I am happy to be back sharing another mixed media piece with you
This time I have created a tag

I started off with a manilla tag and added some sprinkles of brusho's
I added a spritz of water and then dried with my heat gun

I then used some Distress Oxides and covered my tag, taking out a little colour with some water, dried that off .

I used a brick stencil and randomly placed that around.
Then doodled around the edge

Then my lovely Polkadoodles Stamps came out to play 
I have used a mixture of
Doodle Dragonfly Stamp Set
Tall & Spiky Stamp Set
Daisy Friends Stamp Set
I used Ecoline Brush Pens for colour

Meeting Lavender

A bit late in the day but it's a busy time here, We currently have our Granddaughter staying before she returns to school.

I could not wait to colour up this little beauty from Polkadoodles

she is a newbie on the block called

Lavender

I coloured her using Graph'It Markers

and then matched her to the papers from 

Helga Collection

Also used from this collection flowers, sentiment, tag, butterfly and heart

I also used Nuvo Drops ~ Carnation Pink

I doodled around the sentiment using fine liners

The beautiful ribbons are from 

Crafty Ribbons

and I used

Swiss Dots 

which comes in an array of colours

and also a smidge of 

Satin 3mm

I buy this by the bagful I use loads
