Hi Everyone not many posts from me this last week , I have been really busy doing samples and such.

But I am all caught up and now having some crafty me time.

So today I decided it was the turn of Amy a Polka Dot Pal from Little Miss Muffet (also using add on face)

 I needed to send a just because card to a friend and this turned out to be exactly what was needed.

I coloured Amy using Graph'It Markers and Polychromo Pencils, isn't she just so pretty.

I paper pierced her hat and handbag

I can't wait to colour up my next Polka Dot Pal I just have trouble choosing as there are so many and all so lovely

I have used  Banner and Sentiment from the full collection, Winnie Celebrations 3. The Cloud paper is from Winnie Celebrations 1. I have also used the Dies Stitched and Pierced Nested Circles along with Scenic Landscape  and the Flower Bunch Doublet die

Heidi ~ Polka Dot Pals

It's so dark here today I could barely get my photo's to work

I am here today to share with you

Little Miss Heidi

Heidi is one of the Polka Dot pals from Little Miss Muffet (also used the add on faces)

I think she is one of my favourites but this changes every time I colour one up

I have made a cupcake wall hanging for my Granddaughter, so it had to be pink!!

We also bake lots of cupcakes so this is very apt.

I coloured her up using Graph'it Markers and Polychromo Pencils

Her hair bow and dress bow have been cut out a few times and layered up

I just love her pretty dress - I added black/white dots

I cut this out on my portrait and the ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons

Stamping with Polkadoodles

Yesterday my little Granddaughter wanted to do some stamping, so out came my box of Polkadoodles goodies and away we went.

We have been making some fun seaside creations this week, we are craving sunshine and blue skies.

So we set to work on some sea themed tags using a stitched die (creative dies plus) we cut out two

Using distress Oxides we made some backgrounds

We both love working with these

Next we chose our stamps , this was great fun Polkadoodles do have the most amazing stamps

Once we had stamped ,( Felicity really likes to stamp now I have brought her a platform)

We got out our paints and painted them up

Finishing of with some ribbons , twine, sequins and a button with a splash of white posca pen on the sea horse

My Granddaughter has been here for half term she goes home tomorrow ready for back to school on Monday, Ohhh it will be quiet :-(

We have tons of fun together yesterday we made lemon cupcakes yum yum

and last night we sat and crafted

We made similar to this the other day but enjoyed it so much we made another just one this time but designed and made by us both

How excited was I to be asked if I would like to join in Customer Appreciation day over at 

Little Miss Muffet

You bet I would 

We got to choose brand new images (swoon)

and I chose to work with Jacinda

She is just simply sooooo so cute!!

I coloured her up using Graph'It markers and Polychromo pencils

I added in the polka dot pals faces (I totally love these there so much fun)

I cut out the bases on my protrait along with the hearts etc

and used a little piece of Grosgrain Ribbon for the tag

Isn't she just adorable !! I have also used one of the add on faces (available here)

I have coloured Mystie using Graph'It markers and Polychromo pencils and I've used glitter in her hula hoop

I used some lovely ribbon from Crafty Ribbons Fresh stripe I have used Rose but it comes in an array of different colours

Hope your weekend was good

It's half term in the UK so we have our Granddaughter Felicity to stay for the week.

I had spotted a card on You tube that really caught my eye, I went back to watch it properly but alas I could not find it , but had seen enough to do a version

So this morning Felicity and I had some great fun

But these are not just plain pop up box cards

Look!!

We cut out a panel in the front and made underwater scenes
Covering with acetate

To make our fun cards

These really were so much fun to make and seeing it come to life, Felicity said it was the best crafting she had ever done and had a very proud moment

Monsters from Polkadoodles

Happy Tuesday

I am here today to share with you more galaxy backgrounds using Distress Oxide Inks

I totally love these, there are so many possibilities

This time I have teamed them up with the Monster Collection from Polkadoodles and made some pretty fun tags

Using a mixture of different coloured Distress Oxides finishing of with faded jeans and black soot around the edges, splashed with water then heat dried. Then I used some acrylic white paint splattered very finely for stars

Finished of with some pre coloured images from monster collection along with some sentiments

secured with some twine and ribbon
( I cut the monsters out twice ~ the second cut in plain black cardstock to give them a shadow)

Greetings Earthlings

Happy Monday

I have had so much fun today playing with my distress oxides

I love these sooooo much

I had wanted to try a galaxy effect for a long time and today was the day

I used various colours of distress oxide inks and used black soot and faded jeans to bring it all together.

I splashed with water at the end and dried it with my heat gun . I then used a Posca white pen to dot some tiny stars. For my first try at a galaxy I am pretty pleased I would change a few of the colours next time 

The planet and sentiment and cute alien monster are from Digi Stamp Boutique

Space Adventure Set

This is absolutly amazing value , you get 7 digi stamps plus sentiments

It was absolutly perfect for my galaxy effect.

For the sentiment I edged with Distress Oxides and did a little squiggle around

The planet was painted using silver water colour paint

and the little monster alien was coloured using Graph'It Markers

The Ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons, which I totally love

Well it's half term next week which means I get to have my beautiful Granddaughter for the week and not only is it pancake day it is also valentines day and this is going to be her fun little tag for her gift
