It's Vacation Time

Well for one little lady its vacation time
Unfortunatly it's not me... Sobs loudly...

The other morning I was sitting having a cuppa and deciding on my next Vera lane image that I was going to colour up ,when this little lady hopped straight into my basket begging me to take her home would of been rude of me not too

Sooooo I made her her own little suitcase and guess what she has gone to live with my Granddaughter who fell in love with her.

I loved making this up when I could eventually get the suitcase straps to fit right - I had cut them in completly reverse colours but it took me a while to figure out
You can find little Miss Traveler in the Etsy Store right here

She comes complete with a camera, postcard, map and three different sentiments.
I added in the film roll where I shrunk her right down to fit
I also added a postage stamp which I used one of the Dilly's Girls.

I coloured up using Distress Inks and used some Distress Oxides on the postcard and sentiment
I had endess fun with this

Smiley Sunday

I have called my post Smiley Sunday each time I see these characters I smile
They are so nice to just sit and chill and colour up
and that is just how I spent my Sunday morning
I was up early and got all Granddaughters uniform ironed for school next week and then I gave myself the rest of the morning off to create in my happy place
And this is what I created (there are lots more photos in my little slideshow below)

I have used Distress Oxides on the background along with a brick mask.
I used random stamps for the stars, circles, brave and worthy
I did a few doodles around the edge
and then it was time .....
To colour up my Vera Lane Studio images
The Blue Flower, Fairy , House and sentiment are from The Fairy House Collection
The Bee is from Sprinkle and Sparkle
The other 2 flowers are from the Bloom collection
And the little Bird has flown over from Small things matter
All were coloured with Distress Inks
A splash of glitter was used on her wings and wand and on the little Bee

Bloom where you are Planted ~ part 2

Happy Wet Friday
Ohhh so much rain but I don't care, I really am in my happy place right now with crafting
A few days ago I discovered Vera Lane images,
I totally am having a blast!!

Here is a link to the store
But be warned addiction may occur!!
I decided I wanted to make myself a canvas
This one is 8x8

I started off doing the boring Gesso and once dried I used a Tim Holtz stencil for the brick work along with some modelling paste ~ Luckily at this point I went shopping so it could dry naturally without me sticking me fingers in to see if its dry even though I knew it wasn't.

So once home I painted a random background using Ecolines.
I used a inkwell stamp Meadow Row for the black stamping at the bottom.
And added a few various stencils and stamps

Now from Vera Lane Studio I used
I also used the amazing collage sheets

I have used Distress inks to colour and some oxides on the background
I finished off by giving the bee's a sprinkle of glitter and then added some fun sequin mix oh a a few splodges of Nuvo drops Gloss ~ Carnation Pink

The Crafty Ribbon DT got lots of lovely new ribbons to play with
and not only that
It's collaboration week with Fiskars
I was sent some lovely Classic Foldable scissors
and also the sweetest heart punch
I had stacks of ideas but settled on
Baby shoes with matching box

I cut the shoes and box on my portrait
and using my lovely scissors cut the Unicorn ribbon and Chantilly Cotton lace
I cut two little unicorns for the front of the shoes.
I used the heart punch to make buttons and also on the front of the box

Bloom where you are Planted

Bloom where you are Planted
I just love this saying and guess what....
I have come across a new artist well new to me and I just love her work
Here is a link to the Etsy Store
I spent literally hours today going through the store OMG I could have brought the lot!
Lately I have been doing mainly stamping projects but these have certainly wet my digi appetite again
The first set I brought
Which contained 6 digi stamps
So from the collection I used The little girl, (there's 2) the scalloped border, The bright pink flower (there's 2 also) and the sentiment

Hasn't that girl got attitude!! I do love some attitude
I used Distress Oxides on the background along with some fun stencils
For colouring up I used Distress Ink

I used a couple of random stamps the Orange flower stem and the tiny circles around the edges
Then....... Now I am really excited about this....
I found not only these perfect images but.....
There are also Collage elements
I got the circles and stems sheet , I could not wait to chop into it
I used ~ The blue stem and rainbow circle that I popped on as a quirky flower head
The red circle another flower head
and the green/black pink/black borders

Want to know what else I brought??
Pop back later in the week and see

Tilda With Spring Bundle

Good Morning to you all
I am here today to share with you another Tilda card.
I absolutly adore stamping and had a stamping weekend :-)
Firstly I stamped Tilda onto a tag.
I coloured up using Distress Inks (another love of mine)

I used Nuvo Crystal Drops Gloss ~ Double Denim on the flower tops, love the shine these create.

The papers are Penny Black  COCO style (6x6 Paper pad)
I adore this pad and used it on a card I blogged yesterday.

I have a subscription to a magazine and have done for a few years now it always contains freebies , after I have used them I pop them in a box for my Granddaughter, I borrowed it back this weekend Sssshhhhhhh........
And thats where the butterflies, sentiment and flowers are from also painted with Distress Inks.
For the Butterflies I dusted around the edges using Stampendous Ultra Fine Crystal Glitter.
The Flower centers are Nuvo Glitter Accents
I did some faux stitching with my trusty Micron Pen.

And used a few random (old) Die's for decoration

The Lace is from Crafty Ribbons, I used a legnth across the bottom section of the card and some off cuts for the top of the tag tied with a little twine
Thank you so much for stopping by

Love 2 Create

Happy Sunday
Am here to share with you my project for this months Love 2 Create
Make sure you pop across to the challenge blog to see the other wonders from my teamies
This time I have made another set of ATC Coins
I am soooooo addicted
I was asked lots of questions about my set I made the other week
**Although I am using MDF coins ~ these could quite easily be used with a 2.5 round circle punch depending on the medium you are using would depend on your card stock
**There are various groups about that swap these coins ~ I am keeping mine for now
**You can personalise them , I have used Mike Deakin's ATCoin back digi page and these were punched out using my circle punch (you can see this in one of the photo's) You can purchase the page here
For my coins this time I have take the Wonderland route ~ I totally had so much fun playing with these

As before I used Distress Inks on the background and splattered them with water

I then used Polkadoodles Accents stencil - Stars and Circles and then splattered gently with black paint,

The Sentiments are from Polkadoodles 6 x 6 Posy Doodles paper pack - Sentiment sheet, and all the Wonderland lushness is from Polkadoodles Winnie in Wonderland printable collection

And here is the back of coin number 3 ~ using the Mike Deaking Atc page
