Decoupage - The Dolly Dimples Way - Part 5

Here today to share with you a lovely little gift box with a matching tag.

These were both made from 1 sheet of decoupage

The box measures 5 1/2 "by 4" and this fits the decoupaged shoe nicely.

For my first project this time I have used

Dandelions

Is she not just simply georgous

I absolutly adore her

I coloured her up using Distress Ink refils

I paper pierced her skirt and sleeves to match the DP 

Also making a little matching tag.

I cut out a few paper flowers and gave them a little sparkle with some glitter

A die cut Butterfly and my card was good to go

(ohhh there is also a little Tim Holtz die cut corner that I trimmed right down that holds the tag)

Christmas in August?

Hmmmmm Christmas in August really has not got the right ring but hey who cares

I have just found some new cuties about town!

I really have fallen in love and I can see some great Christmas makes with these in the future.

Swedish Housecrafts

For my projects I have used

Nils deer jumper

He was far tooooo cute to just make a card with I just had to make a set

I created a card, gift box and a matching tag

These were all so much fun to make

I coloured up Nils using Distress re inkers

I used walnut stain Oxide ink for the edges

The DP is Studio light Quality papers
I have used white fluffy stuff on the Moustache and slippers
and Puffy stuff on the hats (My Graddaughter was in awe as I heated it and it puffed)

For the card I used a random stencil from my stash of stencils

Mounted with foam tabs onto my DP which I slightly distressed

Nils was also adhered with foam tabs to give some depth 

The snowflakes were doubled up and were from an ancient die

The holly and flowers fussy cut and added with Pinflair Glue Gel

I cut the tag on my portrait and used an old star die the negative stars that cut out I used on Nils hat

I just love him dearly

I then made a matching box, now I love making these but I can never seem to get the correct photo

I really have had so much fun who said we can't Christmas in August ??

I coloured Lady Bea using Distress Inks

Apart from skin colour's I just used two others

I also only used two Distress Oxides on the background.

I then used some random stamps on the background and used Posca Pens for detail

What a very wet Wednesday we are having

I have just come in from shopping luckily the rain missed us but is absolutly pouring down now

For my little project that I am sharing today I went with a card and matching tag.

 I cut lots of little lines of paper so easy with my paper trimmer and weaved together my center . For my flowers I used a mixture of punches, heart/circle/flower, and feather for the leaves. I'm loving sitting playing with shapes to see what I can make .

 I added a few sparkly sequins , some matching pearls and a snip of ribbon to finish

Lady Bea Strikes Again

Happy Sunday to you all I hope you have not got the rain we have had this morning

Well did you spot my post yesterday

I had coloured up Lady Bea from Julia (JMC Art & Design)

As I was colouring her the colours Turquiose were screaming in my head and they just would not go with what  had already painted , sooooo whats a girl to do? Colour another of course...

I adore her I wonder what colours I should use next?

Soooooo I used Distress Inks to colour up

and Oxides on the background

I have a thing for using scraps of newspaper just now so I did just that, colouring and stenciling over.

I used various stamps and a little stencil sequin waste here and there

Spot the teensy stamps I love these and think they suited Lady Bea

I then used the stamps Hello Friend ~ thats to all my lovely Friends out there

I then had a accident *OH NOOOOOO* I dropped a stamp across one of her arms so covered that using yay stamp and I actually quite liked it so *OH NOOOOOO* became *My Happy Mistake that was completly planned)*

Happy Thursday with a confession

EEEks Happy Thursday Everyone time for a little confession....

Felicity was here last night and if you don't know she is cat mad ~ I was on Instagram when I spotted this little cat , I showed Felicity who said she just had to have it 

"Pleeeeeaseeeeee Grandma "

So I agreed to get it for her but she could colour it at the weekend

All agreed ....Little cat purchased

This morning after she went to school I thought I would print a few of the little cat out ready for her and leave on her craft desk.

I coloured up the cat using Distress Inks . 

On my manilla tag I used Distress Oxide Tea Dye. Then using a stencil and Oxide Vintage Photo went over the top 

I printed out my sentiment and then added everything in place

The Bulldog Clip was an after thought as this is the perfect size for my Diary and I like to have certain pages bookmarked

I have really enjoyed making this , Who knew it would be so usefull

I am happy to be back sharing another mixed media piece with you
This time I have created a tag

I started off with a manilla tag and added some sprinkles of brusho's
I added a spritz of water and then dried with my heat gun

I then used some Distress Oxides and covered my tag, taking out a little colour with some water, dried that off .

I used a brick stencil and randomly placed that around.
Then doodled around the edge

Then my lovely Polkadoodles Stamps came out to play 
I have used a mixture of

I used Ecoline Brush Pens for colour

It's far too hot to colour with my markers, they really do not blend very well in this heat

So I was flipping through my collections yesterday

And stumbled across a character that  I love but have not used for a while

This one is pre-coloured from the store is called

Ula Be a Unicorn

The papers are both from the collection as is the sentiment.

I added a little snip of ribbon , a little doodling and some Nuvo Crystal Drops (Emerald City and my tag was complete)

The flowers came from another great collection
