Christmas in July

A few people have asked me to start adding to my blog again, It is nice to be missed
I am still loving crafting and most afternoons can be found in my Craft room.
I still keep my Craft room as tidy and organised as I can , even with a big room things can get a tad chaotic and messy.
Over at Crafter's Companion it's Christmas in July , HSN show is 12th July so today I am sharing the Christmas Topper Pads
Wow did I have fun with these beauties!!
They look lovely layered up or on the own, why not mix and match?
The Paper is also a new pad - they work so well together

I love making sets of things so a Card, bag and matching tag, with the most adorable teddies what's not to love?
Have a great day and I promise to be back real soon

Summer Field

Happy Friday. Yesterday was my Birthday it was very different but a nice day was had.
Granddaughter and I were up early baking chocolate cup cakes to be honest we are running a little short on home baking bits so that was really all we could muster, they were indeed very scrummy though! In the afternoon Daughter popped round for a surprise visit we sat in the garden 2 metres apart but then it started raining , Katie sheltered under a tree on a chair and we popped into the conservatory so we could carry on chatting, I am sure we will laugh about this in times to come.
Anyways I did manage a few hours in my craft room and I had seen a challenge on Country View Challenges that I love the sound of  "Summer Fields"
So here we go my card with that theme in mind
I used Studio Light Paper pad , I love this one I only have 5 pages left ((eeeks!!))
I doodled around the edge with a black fine micron pen.

To start of I used Inkwell Stamps Meadow Row
I have had this a good few years now , I always suddenly remember it and dig it out
I also used a Sunflower Stamp Set this is also very old , I am not sure who made it but I have hunted high and low and can't see it anywhere, but saying that there really are some lovely Sunflower Stamps out there I might even treat myself!
To colour up I used
Inktense Water Colours
&
Alcohol Markers

I also used a few stamp sets that were freebie's from my magazines
Wild Flowers
The Country of an Edwardian Lady (Bee)
Layered Peonies (Sentiment)
I used some Glossy Accents on the Bee's wings along with a sprinkling of glitter.
Layering some pieces up so they popped of the page
I also used a few elements from MJM Design Studios - I have a few of Michelle's collection I love them and they are very handy to make either complete projects or to use parts with other things in your stash
I finished of using Distress Oxide to dust round and a white marker for some detail
Thank you so much for stopping by
and I hope you enjoy walking through my "Summer Field"

Happy Sunday to you all
There will be a few posts from me today
On Friday we picked our Granddaughter up from school to spend the Easter holidays with us,

Our first make we decided on was this cute little Easter bag
First I cut it out on my portrait and Felicity helped me assemble , it really was great fun to make up
The ribbon around the bottom is beautiful Organza Swiss Ribbons
Now look at that stunning bow that fits perfect on our Bunny
this was also made with ribbon from  Crafty Ribbons but alas I can not take the credit ~ My lovely talented teamie Wendy from Spain sent me some ~ pop across to Wendy's blog you will not be disapointed
Hope you like our Easter Bunny Bag

Big Wheels Keep on Turnin'

Happy Wednesday to you
Wow these weeks are flying past so very quickly
I've totally lots and lots of Mojo when it comes to crafting I hope it lasts
so many new ideas and things I want to try and make
I started last week with a penny slider card (new to me), I cut it from a Sil file I loved it so much I decided to make my own to fit a 6 x 6 card
I also found a lack of pennies used as sliders, so I made my own from thick cardboard sandwiched together with a foam pad , works a treat

I have taken 3 main photo's as I liked to follow her on her little adventure.
The stunning image is from Tiddly Inks and is called Big Wheels Keep on Turnin'
She is half way there!!
The papers I have used .....hmmmmm confession time I was in B and M's I love there huge craft section it's perfect for getting my Granddaughter bits and pieces when I found a 12x12 double sided pad £2.99 Bargain so in my trolley it did fall.
When I got it home I realised actually how beautiful it was , such good quality to ....Sooooo I sneaked a few pages ssshhhhh
The flowers were a very old die also cut on one of the sneaked papers lol
With some sparkling gems added
The sentiment was a freebie stamp from a mag.
The lovely ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons
Sheer Puff Dot - Royal
very scrummy
Thank you so much for popping by today

Star Hanger - Polkadoodles Crafting

I am just adoring making Christmas Crafts this year
This wonderful new collection is an absolute must have

This time I have made a star hanger
It was cut on my portrait
and you can find the file at Sandra's right here ( I shop here loads if your a follower you probably would of realised that - I love all of her files)
Now this one came as a star card but since we were trying to steer away from the card route I made it into a hanging star using a slice of matching ribbon
I decorated using the wonderful new collection
that paper is lush!
Don't ask me why I added feathers, but they were pretty and white and they seemed to work
