Happy Thursday with a confession

EEEks Happy Thursday Everyone time for a little confession....

Felicity was here last night and if you don't know she is cat mad ~ I was on Instagram when I spotted this little cat , I showed Felicity who said she just had to have it 

"Pleeeeeaseeeeee Grandma "

So I agreed to get it for her but she could colour it at the weekend

All agreed ....Little cat purchased

This morning after she went to school I thought I would print a few of the little cat out ready for her and leave on her craft desk.

I coloured up the cat using Distress Inks . 

On my manilla tag I used Distress Oxide Tea Dye. Then using a stencil and Oxide Vintage Photo went over the top 

I printed out my sentiment and then added everything in place

The Bulldog Clip was an after thought as this is the perfect size for my Diary and I like to have certain pages bookmarked

I have really enjoyed making this , Who knew it would be so usefull

Fat Cats and Bank Holiday Monday Fun

Happy Monday everyone

What a fantastic Easter day we had yesterday

Full of fun, laughs and chocolate.

This morning Felicity and I decided to have some craft time

She adores the Fat Cats from Vera Lane Studio, so, so much fun

We also used Planner and journal cards , such a cool idea!

I shall definatly be using these a lot 

These were the two that Felicity made, How cute ....

To decorate we used Circles and Stems Collage Sheet

I coloured mine using Distess Inks and Felicity used coloured pencils

We both love cats - Felicity has a scottish fold breed cat , and we have 3 rescue cats ~ All independant but we are still needed for cuddles oh and of course food

by the time you see my post I bet there are already some sell outs.

When my package arrived to make the samples there was squeals and squeals and even more squeals , and then it began, where on earth do I start

I decided to start with the stamps and created 

A Bendy Card, I cut it on my portrait you can get the template from Sandra's right here

It's a lovely template and lots of fun to dress, I wasn't really sure where I was going with my card at this point.

I matted it up using one of the lovely new paperpacks

The Great Outdoors

and then it began....

I mixed and matched all the stamp packs

and came up with this

It did take a long time to complete, but I loved it and kept adding more

All the colouring was done using Distress Inks, I am new to them so it was good practise
After they were coloured I fussy cut them all out , this took a while , I kept nipping of the toadstool heads(oooopsie). The leaves also started out as a much bigger pile.

For the grass I used Teal reindeer moss
