Christmas in July

  A few people have asked me to start adding to my blog again, It is nice to be missed
 I am still loving crafting and most afternoons can be found in my Craft room.
I still keep my Craft room as tidy and organised as I can , even with a big room things can get a tad chaotic and messy.

Over at Crafter's Companion it's Christmas in July , HSN show is 12th July so today I am sharing the Christmas Topper Pads

Wow did I have fun with these beauties!!

They look lovely layered up or on the own, why not mix and match?

The Paper is also a new pad - they work so well together

I love making sets of things so a Card, bag and matching tag, with the most adorable teddies what's not to love?

JMC Designs - Fashion Fleur

Such a lovely day today , yesterday the weather was awful, so my Granddaughter thought we should have a crafty day, So as luck would have it the lovely Julia had released a lovely freebie , she is called'Fashion Fleur' If you would like her pop over to the Facebook Group, there is also a DT call happening right now! It's a great team to be a part of we have lots of fun with the quirky images

Is she not simply beautiful, I coloured her up using a new love of mine Spectrum noir Tri-Blends. These are amazing to use . I am lucky to have the full set , I really did have a colour fest yesterday!

 Mariposa Die Set ~ I just adore this and I love the White Frame

Butterfly Love ~ this is a wonderful Die/Stamp Set

Peony Such a clever die set that makes those wonderful flowers

Alongside I used White Stamping Card (amazing for card bases too!)

Textured cardstock (Pastels)

A Whirlwind kinda Month

 This month has seen the family full of heavy colds that our Granddaughter kindly shared after returning to school

I have had so much I wanted to share and I can assure you my blog is going to be very lively

I can start by letting you know I have joined Crafters Companion

My first make I would love to share with you

I have used the brand new collection from Sharon Callis Arts 'n Flowers - Butterflies and Blooms

Which has been shown on HSN today *Launch Day*

These are beautiful beyond words to work with, I love them all , Normally with a collection I choose a favourite but this was completly impossible , I could literally sit and play with these all day long

For this card I used the

Alongside I used White Stamping Card (amazing for card bases too!)

Textured cardstock (Pastels)

For my project I have used the wonderful stamps

Agatha Kitty

Texture Cube 2

Cracks

3 Daisies

I used Distress ink on the background once dry I randomly stamped the edge

The Daisies were stamped onto white tissue paper and dusted with Distress Oxides. 

I gave an mdf piece a coat of gesso and then lightly added some Oxide.

Kitty was coloured up using Distress refils

This time the challenge is
Use a Die or Stencil
Perfect for me I do love stencils

I used the stamp Jasmin this time, totally love her attitude
and how perfect she is with that sentiment which is from this months new release Phrase Cube 6
The Caution Stencil am pretty sure is by Andy Skinner
The flowers are random Stencils
I used Distress refill inks to colour Jasmine
And Oxide Inks on the background
I then mixed some Texture paste with some ink refils and used the stencils
Just love the pink and orange

For my first project this time I have used

Dandelions

Is she not just simply georgous

I absolutly adore her

I coloured her up using Distress Ink refils

I paper pierced her skirt and sleeves to match the DP 

Also making a little matching tag.

I cut out a few paper flowers and gave them a little sparkle with some glitter

A die cut Butterfly and my card was good to go

(ohhh there is also a little Tim Holtz die cut corner that I trimmed right down that holds the tag)

I have family round later for dinner but managed to nip in a card

I started it last night and finished off this morning

This is my first ever Diorama card and it will definatly not be my last

I loved it from start to finish

I tried one once before the instructions were useless nothing fitted it put me off

but I am glad I re- tried with a different kit

This one is called Summer at the beach it is a A4 booklet with enough in to make 12 cards!

It's pretty difficult to get good photo's but a lot of it is decoupaged up

So clever how it lies flat for posting

(excuse the pink nail varnish)

Here today to share with you my Word Up Weekend card for Stampotique

Pop over to our Facebook Group , It's completly full of fun, Love and colour (and of course amazing stamps and Artists)
For my card this week I have used the lovely stamps from Stampotique
I adore using there stamps they really bring fun into Crafting
I am always found giggling away whilst creating and this make was no different

I have used the Rooster Stamp by Artist Terri Richardson
How adorable is this I absolutly LOVE this stamp
I coloured up using Polychromo Pencils always good to have a change ~I added some barely visible clouds~ they are there promise , a partial Sun and a little grass, The rooster is mounted twice for some extra depth
White Posca Pen for detail
The Background was made using Distress Oxides and a few random Stencils
The Sentiment Oh my gosh makes me howl
A perfect partner for the rooster ~ This is also bt Artist Terri ~ and is called Fowl Verses Cube
