This time the challenge is
Use a Die or Stencil
Perfect for me I do love stencils

I used the stamp Jasmin this time, totally love her attitude
and how perfect she is with that sentiment which is from this months new release Phrase Cube 6
The Caution Stencil am pretty sure is by Andy Skinner
The flowers are random Stencils
I used Distress refill inks to colour Jasmine
And Oxide Inks on the background
I then mixed some Texture paste with some ink refils and used the stencils
Just love the pink and orange

For my first release I have used 
Uli Unicorn

I adore Uli such a fun unicon
Definatly one for the craft room wall so I used a canvas
After a coat of Gesso I used some Texture paste through some stencils.
Once dry out came the Distress Oxides adding in some extra detail using the stencils again.

Uli was coloured using Distress Ink refils
and for her detail and a few stars around her I used Gold Kuratake Gansai Tambi paint

The sentiment was computer generated and coloured over using Oxides

This time the challenge is

Something Funny

I find there are so many funny stamps at Stampotique I am always having a giggle at what I am creating or have seen in the store

This week I have chosen to work with

Jasmin

How adorable is she

The sentiment suited her loads I think

This is from Octopus Quotes Cube

I have used Distress Oxides on the background and coloured Jasmin in matching Distress Ink refils

I used the refils to colour some texture paste to match and worked through some stencils

I then carried on using matching inks and used the following stamp on the background

Texture Cube 1

This really is my go to background stamp

I do hope my little card has given you a giggle

Stampotique New Release ~Ride The Broom

Another beautiful day here blue skies and lots of sunshine

Doors and windows wide open and then i bring you a little......

Halloween

This is made from the July new release stamp collection from Stampotique

Really is a super duper DT to be on

The background was done with Distress Oxides, I made up some black texture paste and ran that through a bubble stencil for coloring I used Distress Ink refils

Here  am back again with my 3rd and final make for todays Pinflair shows on Create & Craft, I have thoroughly enjoyed these, so so different to what I have made before but I love the Cartonnage kits so much. The instructions are so clear~ I still have more to make up so watch this space......

Okat my final one for today I made up the 

Cartonnage Carry Tray

So, so many uses for this one

I did love assembling this I went for my colourwave of the year which seems to be purple 

I covered all the pieces with amazing cardstock , I adore this soooooo much

I assembled following the instructions

and of course using the faithfull 

Pinflair Glue - It Bookbinding Glue 

I also used a stencil with Pinflair Buff-It Silver

and a stencil with Pinflair Gellitex Oh my goodness I love this stuff!!

I then added some flowers and greenery, added some lace and beads

soooooooooooo girly

Create & Craft take 2 ~ Pinflair

Welcome back today to my second post today

How excited have I been making samples for Pinflair

It's a fab DT and I was totally honoured to be asked if I would like to do some samples for todays shows

the shows are at 2.00 and 9.00
This time I am sharing with you a lovely Cartonnage project of a tissue box

The Tissue boxes are in various sizes
I covered this one using card stock and added some stenciling using Pinflair Buff-It Gold
It was glued together using  Pinflair Glue - It Bookbinding Glue
I would highly recommend this glue its great to work with and holds very strong
I finished of decorating with some flowers and lace
I then lifted the lid and added my tissues
A very simple make but very, very pretty

Happy Tuesday Everyone

What an exciting day ....Not only is it my Birthday.....but.......

I have been busy making some samples for todays show's on

Create & Craft for the lovely Jo from Pinflair

the shows are at 2.00 and 9.00

There will be a few posts from me today to show you what I made

and will start by showing you the wheelbarrow

I totally had a blast making all my projects I totally am in love with the Cartonnage kits

I wish in hindsight I had taken step by step photo's of this as at every turn and drop of paint I squealed a bit more , I really did not want to part with this so I am going to make one for me too

When I first saw this my vision was to build it with flowers across the top , it soon became clear this was not going to work to well.

I started off painting the body 

Using Pinflair Buff-It  Liquid Orange

Once dry I added some stencilling.

 I then  used Pinflair Glue - It Bookbinding Glue (I used this for all my cartonnage makes) to put the body together

To get the rust effect (this is on the inside of the wheelbarrow too as some bits show)

I used Pinflair Rust - It Orange

Using a sponge to apply first and then dabbing it on , I loved this I wanted to give everything a rust effect, Using Pinflair Buff-It Slate to give it some colour

Using Pinflair Buff - It Liquid Black the wheels were painted

Once I had stopped faffing and it was all dry it was assembly time I was dreading this bit as it looked as if it may be tricky but it was soooo, so easy the instructions are so clear

I was so chuffed at this point I loved the orange so after much head scratching I came up with using sunflowers, I loved the idea but then I hit a major problem half way through making my sunflowers I ran out of Orange card stock, thank goodness for Amazon Prime!!

Sunflowers made , Bee's attached I made a little tag and a mini trowel to finish.

I do hope you will watch the shows there are really some stunning makes to be seen and of course some scrummy goodies

This time I have used

How cute is he!! So much so I stamped him 3 times

I have also used another new release 

Frames Cube by Artist Terri Richardson

and.......

I used the word Friends from this months new cube stamp release Artist Arwen McCullen

I have also used 

Texture Cube 1 Artist Kate Crane

I used Distress Oxide Ink on the background

I then mixed some Texture paste with some paint and used a dog bone stencil and added texture from the texture cube (this is amazing)

I used the newrelease frames and popping a few together made a camera roll , masking off I added Frenchie and coloured using Distress inks.

I then added the Friends quote to finish

I am happy to be back sharing another mixed media piece with you

This time I am sharing a page from my mini Pink Pig book

I adore these books and my Granddaughter brought me 3 for my Birthday so it was only apt to use one for our Summer memories 2018

I haven't yet decided on a front cover but this is our first page

We spent three wonderful days in Hastings on a mini break

Felicity adores the seaside and the little photo is of her dipping her toes in the sea (her dress got wet with a big wave, much to her amusment)

For the background I used Distress Oxides

I then used Texture paste through Polkadoodles

Accent Stencil

I used Ripe Persimmon Oxides for the sun alongside 

Great Outdoors Stencil

and used the following Polkadoodles Stamp Sets

Special Times Stamp Set

Honey Daisy Stamp Set

Belle Papillon Stamp Set

Oceania Stamp Set

to share with you my little Robin house

He is such a cutie

I stamped him out then used the matching die

I used lots of the stamps from the ODS

and all were coloured with Graph'It Markers

It was such a hot day when I made this my markers were drying before my eyes making blending near on impossible

For the roof I used snow text texture paste

I also used the poinsettia die

Also using the Paper Packs

I am here today to share a little tag with you

Woof you 

I am  totally a cat person but I love these so much

I coloured up using Distress Inks

For the background I used the

New Bones stencil

I used texture paste , I wish is was instant drying, I cant resist sticking me fingers on even though I know its clearly not dry 

I then used Distress Oxides over the bones

What cute little pups!

A slice of ribbon and my tag was good to go
