Decoupage The Dolly Dimples way - Part 2

 Happy Monday,
I actually can't believe we are in September, soon be Christmas (more on that later in my post!)
I have again used my journal with the theme of men's cards the ones we all struggle with, not any more, over at Dolly Dimples there are oodles of Decoupage under the heading Men / Transport

I chose the page Piano, Which was a lot of fun!
His wild hair kept making me giggle!
I also used the stencil Screw Heads and Seals #008
I used this with some Distress Oxide - Vintage Photo.
The Sentiment is from Stickers with a difference
(My go to Sentiments)
Next week is going to be all about Christmas, it will be a lot more than a journal page so be sure to check back

Dolly Dimples Decoupage

 Happy Monday
I am here today to share with you my journey of decoupage the Dolly Dimples way!
I adore Dolly Dimples crafts and I just love Decoupage .
I find it so relaxing , so if you find yourself a little stressed order yourself a sheet, grab some scissors, foam pads, or 3d glue (I always use this although in the coming months I may try the pads)
My first share is decoupage in the front of my journal.

The goodies that I have used are :
I also used
Distress Inks - Mowed Lawn/Lucky Clover/Pine Needles
Sequin Waste
I am not sure why in my photo my Glossy Highlights still look wet in real life they look so lush - I had so much fun putting this together my only wish is that I wish I had made it into a card so I could have sent it to someone , never mind there is always next time, and until then
Take Care

The Saxaphonist ~ CRAFT GDT

A few months back CRAFT were celebrating Christmas
I was lucky enough to be picked and there number 1 Top 3 which meant I was offered a GDT for this week . Sooooo here I am
There lovely sponsor this week is The Paper Shelter with a prize to win some of there scrummy images.
The challenge is 3d Decoupage so what you waiting for? Grab those scissors get snipping and join in the fun!
I used the fab image The Saxophonist
I also used the backing paper that came with him ~ just slightly inking the edges
What a fun character he is
I printed him several times and then had the choice of which parts to layer up (at this point I change my mind several times)
The Sentiment is a stamp from a set from Craft Emotions - a go to stamp set for Sentiments
I Stamped this in Momemto then popped a little distress ink over to match in

Hush Little Baby ~ Crafty Ribbons

Happy Tuesday , Hope you all had a good weekend
it was bank holiday here in the Uk
We were certainly spoilt by the weather, The sun sure did have his hat on
Yesterday I made a Baby card

How cute is this Decoupage sheet.
The card was cut on my portrait, I used Linen card
I also made a matching box

The sentiment is a freebie stamp I think, I subscribe to a monthly magazine and more often than not I store the freebie stamps in a box , I always rummage through if Im looking for sentiments etc and can normally find what I am looking for ~ I used Memento Ink Toffee Cruch

The Ribbon of course is from Crafty Ribbons
and I have used the 3mm Satin Ribbon in White
I use this Ribbon so much and it comes in tons of delish colours.

Happy Birthday Auntie Ivy

Happy Sunday
It's Auntie Ivy's Birthday soon
Now we don't normally send Birthday cards but....
I was poorly last Christmas and did not get to make my usual Family home made cards...
Am afraid they were all brought..
I heard a wisper that she missed my normal homemade card and that stayed with me, so many people really dont appreciate the time and thought that goes into homemade these days.
I was determined to make a nice  Birthday card and here it is

I have used the wonderful kit from Pinflair
The Quality is super and you get a lovely sheet of thick acetate for the windows.
The flowers are all numbered so very easy to decoupage
I even made a little insert ( a first for me a proper insert)

Oh I do like to be beside the Seaside

Hope your all having a good crafty weekend
I have family round later for dinner but managed to nip in a card
I started it last night and finished off this morning
This is my first ever Diorama card and it will definatly not be my last
I loved it from start to finish
I tried one once before the instructions were useless nothing fitted it put me off
but I am glad I re- tried with a different kit
This one is called Summer at the beach it is a A4 booklet with enough in to make 12 cards!
It's pretty difficult to get good photo's but a lot of it is decoupaged up

So clever how it lies flat for posting
(excuse the pink nail varnish)

Vintage Flowers ~ Pinflair

Last week was just like Christmas , Two huge massive boxes arrived from the lovely Jo from Pinflair filled to the brim with lots of loveliness to play with
I absolutly adore 3d and there was masses !! I could not wait to get started. I will be sharing all my makes with you
So 4 days ago my friend got engaged I am so excited for her , her ring is huge and very sparkly so I set to make them a card, She restores furniture etc and is very much into vintage, so the kit I used was pretty perfect

I used a page from Vintage Flowers
I adore these books so many wonderful pre-cut elements to make your cards unique and special
You also get a little picture to show what your card could look me but I turned that into a tag for the inside.

I added in a few sparkly pearls and some yummy Viscose Lace  a snip of  Satin Ribbon on my tag. Lace and Ribbon both from Crafty Ribbons
The little pocket inside was made from a sheet that was in a Paper Pad from Pinflair Woodland Winter, although it has a slight dusting of snow its such a perfect match and Im sure I will get away with it
Thank you so much for looking , Having a great day
