The Purse Nightmare ~ Fiskars

Happy Tuesday Everyone, the sun is still shining
and me......Well I am set for a crafty day
~ ~ ~
My Granddaughter was going on a school trip and needed a purse with her name inside – The night before the trip no purse could be found even though she has a few.
I could see she was getting very anxious
I was thinking I could sew one but then I found a pattern in the SIL store I was a little dubious if it would work ~ but it works like a treat and was very simple
Felicity chose her paper
If you are a follower of my blog you will know by now I use B & M's 12 x 12 double sided paper packs for my 3d projects at £2.99 with lots of different designs
So we set together and made one out of the card, We popped some hearts from the Fiskars punch to decorate. She loved it and so did her friends !! We need to make 3 more now

little treat bags. These are a lovely size to add a small piece of Jewellery , gift card or some chocolates I have a little stash of these so always have one to hand. I assembled the little bags adding butterflies from my Fiskars butterfly punch to theses I added some little gems and popped them on my bags . I then used my Fiskars tag punch to make some matching tags and used the little heart hand punch to finish

Tag your It

Happy Wednesday To You All
Hope your having a great week
It was my Birthday yesterday so my week so far has been full of fun (and cake!!)
~~~00~~~
One of my favourite things to make are Tags, Something I never tire of making. So the three in one punch from Fiskars is amazing for me , It cuts a perfect tag, creates the hole and then attaches the eyelet, how much fun is that. Super duper quick too!!
I used some random stamps I wish I could remember who they were by but unfortunatly the wrapper is long gone ~ When I started crafting I brought various stamps and then decided I could not stamp so they sat in a box for quite a few years ~ then I decided I could stamp so out came the stamps - Stamping is now without a doubt my go to - I do still colour digi's but only if I really, really like them.
I coloured these stamps with Distres Ink refils and used Distress Oxides on the background
A few splashes of water on the oxides , A snip of ribbon and my tags were set to go
Fiskars Day
What a very wet Wednesday we are having
I have just come in from shopping luckily the rain missed us but is absolutly pouring down now
For my little project that I am sharing today I went with a card and matching tag.
 I cut lots of little lines of paper so easy with my paper trimmer and weaved together my center . For my flowers I used a mixture of punches, heart/circle/flower, and feather for the leaves. I'm loving sitting playing with shapes to see what I can make .
 I added a few sparkly sequins , some matching pearls and a snip of ribbon to finish
Thank you for looking today
Happy Friday ~ Fiskarettes day
Huge Happy Friday , The sun is shining
I have had suchhhhhhhhhhhhh a good week with one thing and another (more on that soon)
But lets just say dreams can come true....
Have a great Bank Holiday Weekend to my UK friends
and a Happy weekend to everyone else too
I am hoping for a BBQ.....
~~~~~oo~~~~~
Anyways on to my Fiskars project for this week

I made some little  little pillow boxes , I used my Fiskars heart punch to decorate the front punching out twice, so the patterned one sits onto the white. I then used my lovely heart shaped hand punch which is so cute and now lives forever on my craft desk.

 I used the tag punch for my sentiments just trimmed to fit my projects. I finished off with the butterfly punch and added some sparkly gems to finish, Perfect for those little gifts or fill with sweeties

Thank you so much for stopping by today

Fiskars Meets The Craft Cotton Post

Happy Friday to you all
I am so excited to be sharing these projects with you I had great fun making them
Fiskars and The Craft Cotton Post are having a collobaration

 For my first project I decorated a canvas board using the Eastern Botanicals collection fat quarters for the dress. I do love a pretty dress! I used the mini heart shaped punch for a fancy border. The small flowers were made from my little circle punch these are so much fun to make . I used some lovely papers on the background and then punched some hearts and a butterfly to match. I finished of with a little stencil work on the background and adding a few more tiny hearts

I totally loved making this adding lots of stencil work , an MDF swirl

For my second project this was based around my Granddaughter .
 If we are not found crafting together we can be found baking ~ Of course mainly fairy cakes! So we decided to make a matching little apron and hair bow. This time I used the heart punch as a template and using some fusible interfacing cut out my hearts ðŸ˜Š.... Felicity has decided it may be nice to have matching bows for all her outfits

As You Like It ~ Fav non card project
I liked both of these projects for different reasons. It was nice to make a change from playing with paper - Also being a very basic sewer it brought me out of my comfort zone , but who doesnt love a challenge . The apron and bow really suited my Granddaughter and she is over the moon which makes me very happy :-)
The canvas I just love the elements and the colours

Fiskars GDT - Going round in circles

This week I've been going round in circles using my trusty circle punch . I started of by making the little album using just the punch for the flower front and also it made cute little tabs for my pages.

 I used the tag punch and cut it down for my sentiment. I was having so much fun I carried on and made a few more little bits and pieces that will go in my handy box ,

Its quite amazing how a little circle can be used in so many different ways
