~~oo~~
This time the challenge is
Add Wings or Create With Wings

And Now I was feeling in an orange mood
Orange is the color of joy and creativity. Orange promotes a sense of general wellness and emotional energy that should be shared, such as compassion, passion, and warmth. Orange will help a person recover from disappointments, a wounded heart, or a blow to one’s pride.
I used some Gesso  on a canvas board and then coated using dylusions ink spray ~ Squeezed Orange.
I used a ray stencil on which I used Pinflair Gellitex I love the sparkle this gives (although hard to pick up with my little camera)

I used
Background Stamp's  ~ Splatter Blob
                                         ~Texture Cube 1
I also used some sequin waste and random bottle tops
The main stamp The Queen of Everything ~ I adore her, she comes with the sentiment

She has one set of wings but as the challenge was about wings I gave her two more sets
I coloured her using Distress Ink Refils and used some nuvo drops on her crown

So What are you waiting for
Don your Wings and come and join our Challenge

Fiskars Meets The Craft Cotton Post

Happy Friday to you all
I am so excited to be sharing these projects with you I had great fun making them
Fiskars and The Craft Cotton Post are having a collobaration

For my first project I decorated a canvas board using the Eastern Botanicals collection fat quarters for the dress. I do love a pretty dress! I used the mini heart shaped punch for a fancy border. The small flowers were made from my little circle punch these are so much fun to make . I used some lovely papers on the background and then punched some hearts and a butterfly to match. I finished of with a little stencil work on the background and adding a few more tiny hearts

I totally loved making this adding lots of stencil work , an MDF swirl

For my second project this was based around my Granddaughter .
If we are not found crafting together we can be found baking ~ Of course mainly fairy cakes! So we decided to make a matching little apron and hair bow. This time I used the heart punch as a template and using some fusible interfacing cut out my hearts ðŸ˜Š.... Felicity has decided it may be nice to have matching bows for all her outfits

(spot the whisk )

Thank you so much for stopping by today

As You Like It ~ Fav non card project
I liked both of these projects for different reasons. It was nice to make a change from playing with paper - Also being a very basic sewer it brought me out of my comfort zone , but who doesnt love a challenge . The apron and bow really suited my Granddaughter and she is over the moon which makes me very happy :-)
The canvas I just love the elements and the colours

My Crafting Journey.....

I really am on the road with my crafting Journey
I am having an absolute ball right now
I have been setting myself a target this weeks is too use some old stash and not buy more
I know I brought an image that was blogged yesterday but it was 50% off and it was not really for me and it was incredibly cute :-)
hmmmm I have also purchased this week a white ink pad, but in my defense I really did need it ...
Today's project see's another Julia Spiri image
This one is a freebie if you join there VIP club
It's called Funny Hat - I wasn't sure what she was going to get turned into but I was immidatly in love and need to colour her up

I ended up making a canvas . Im so drawn towards purple's at the moment so much so , I even looked it up to see what it said, I was pretty impressed at how accurate it was and pretty much sums me up.

Having either purple or violet as your favorite color means you are sensitive and compassionate, understanding and supportive, thinking of others before yourself - you are the person others come to for help - being needed motivates you but sometimes people take advantage of you. You are a gentle and free spirit.

I coloured her using Distress Inks
I took some purple papers and gently ripped them , dusted round the edges and adhered to my canvas board.

I adhered funny hat
Rippped a few randomn word papers (the top one being from Waitrose weekend newspaper) funny enough it was an article about missing mojo and they reccomend Sports, I think the editor maybe a comedian

I used my Andy Skinner mixed media stencil (very old stash never used before) and stenciled Journey because thats how I feel , and I also feel that this little lady is on a journey too
I also used the same stencil for number 152 and the arrow.
**stop press** More Old stash alert ~ I used my Tim Holtz Crackle stencil for the edging
I then used a star stencil (no name but old again) and also some sequin waste. The stencils were all done using Distress Oxide Inks

I punched a few circles and made the little flowers and added some punched hearts
Topped with a few sequins to finish
Thank you for stopping by
