Stained Glass Flowers ~ Colourific

Happy Colourific Thursday

I am here today to share with you another Colourific make

I used the Stained Glass Kaleidoscope Stamps to layer up to make flowers

this is so much fun really enjoy creating snipping away to make something different

I also used the Stem from Hydrangeas Stamp Set

It fitted perfectly

I coloured up using Distress inks

and splashed a little ink for the background

once dry I stamped the stem added a few white dots ans assembled my flowers

Just love the way they pop of the page

Vintage Flowers ~ Pinflair

Last week was just like Christmas , Two huge massive boxes arrived from the lovely Jo from Pinflair filled to the brim with lots of loveliness to play with

I absolutly adore 3d and there was masses !! I could not wait to get started. I will be sharing all my makes with you

So 4 days ago my friend got engaged I am so excited for her , her ring is huge and very sparkly so I set to make them a card, She restores furniture etc and is very much into vintage, so the kit I used was pretty perfect

I used a page from Vintage Flowers

I adore these books so many wonderful pre-cut elements to make your cards unique and special

You also get a little picture to show what your card could look me but I turned that into a tag for the inside.

I added in a few sparkly pearls and some yummy Viscose Lace  a snip of  Satin Ribbon on my tag. Lace and Ribbon both from Crafty Ribbons

The little pocket inside was made from a sheet that was in a Paper Pad from Pinflair Woodland Winter, although it has a slight dusting of snow its such a perfect match and Im sure I will get away with it

Christmas in August?

Hmmmmm Christmas in August really has not got the right ring but hey who cares

I have just found some new cuties about town!

I really have fallen in love and I can see some great Christmas makes with these in the future.

Swedish Housecrafts

For my projects I have used

Nils deer jumper

He was far tooooo cute to just make a card with I just had to make a set

I created a card, gift box and a matching tag

These were all so much fun to make

I coloured up Nils using Distress re inkers

I used walnut stain Oxide ink for the edges

The DP is Studio light Quality papers
I have used white fluffy stuff on the Moustache and slippers
and Puffy stuff on the hats (My Graddaughter was in awe as I heated it and it puffed)

For the card I used a random stencil from my stash of stencils

Mounted with foam tabs onto my DP which I slightly distressed

Nils was also adhered with foam tabs to give some depth 

The snowflakes were doubled up and were from an ancient die

The holly and flowers fussy cut and added with Pinflair Glue Gel

I cut the tag on my portrait and used an old star die the negative stars that cut out I used on Nils hat

I just love him dearly

I then made a matching box, now I love making these but I can never seem to get the correct photo

I really have had so much fun who said we can't Christmas in August ??

Word Up Weekend ~ Stampotique

Happy Weekend Everyone

Here today to share with you my Word Up Weekend card for Stampotique

Pop over to our Facebook Group , It's completly full of fun, Love and colour (and of course amazing stamps and Artists)
For my card this week I have used the lovely stamps from Stampotique
I adore using there stamps they really bring fun into Crafting
I am always found giggling away whilst creating and this make was no different

I have used the Rooster Stamp by Artist Terri Richardson
How adorable is this I absolutly LOVE this stamp
I coloured up using Polychromo Pencils always good to have a change ~I added some barely visible clouds~ they are there promise , a partial Sun and a little grass, The rooster is mounted twice for some extra depth
White Posca Pen for detail
The Background was made using Distress Oxides and a few random Stencils
The Sentiment Oh my gosh makes me howl
A perfect partner for the rooster ~ This is also bt Artist Terri ~ and is called Fowl Verses Cube

Using some magic type paper I inked around the edges

I coloured the stamps with Distress Ink refils

adding a dash of glitter to the cauldron

I have coloured her up using distress Ink refils

The background has been made using Distress Inks to colour match.

I have used vaious stencils on the background some with texture paste that I coloured with inks to match in

Pillow Boxes ~ Colourific

Happy Colourific Thursday

Am here today to share with you some Pillow boxes I made

I do love to make these

I used two stamp sets from Colourific

Hydrangeas

and

Chrysanthemum

Both Beautiful Stamp Sets with lots of potential

I cut my boxes out using my portrait cutter and added some acetate to the windows

(For those that know me ....Yes the paper is from B n M's Bargain at £2.99 this one is called Grandma's Garden)

Very easy to make up with only one glue line needed

I then stamped up the flowers and leaves a few times so I could layer up

I coloured these with distress ink and used a white Posca pen for detail

There are some tiny little middle stamps in the sets I covered these with Nuvo Drops and left all to dry.............

I made up my flowers and attached middles , there very shiny in real life

Attached the flowers to my Pillow boxes 

A very easy, and simple project

They just need to be filled with goodies now
