The Wonderful stamps I have used this time are
Flower Doodle
Texture Cube 1
Quotes 2
I totally love reading, it's a winter thing for me, in the evenings snuggle on the sofa with my big thick throw, wax melt lit , cushions plumped ....Ooops forgot to mention the hot chocolate
Anyway my reasoning behind my make today is a book mark
I was being creative earlier in the week and this background was left over, I had no idea what I was going to use it for until this morning
I was looking through my Stampotique stamps and I was so drawn to that sentiment I think its super cool, I paired up with the flower and it was a perfect bookmark
So the background was made using acrylic paints, you may spy a little of a circle stencil too
Stamping the sentiment, I just love it , I think its just become my new favourite!!
I then stamped using the texture cube very randomly
I stamped out the flower twice , once onto the background and then again onto some water colour card
Using Derwent Inktense to colour up the flower ~ I tried to keep the colours similar to the background
Once dry I adhered the flower to the background and added Nuvo Drops Ebony Black.
A few squiggles around the edge and my bookmark was good to go
Thank you for stopping by today

Hi Jan, I can see why you wanted to use this awesome background for your bookmark. The multi-media background really shows off the gorgeous flower beautifully. Love the scattering of ebony Nuvo drops as well. But it's the sentiment that adds a special touch to the bookmark for me. Thanks so much for sharing this week for our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge.
