Now I don't normally post on a Thursday

but could not wait to show off the new Toadstool border cut file I have been playing with

It cuts out like a dream

No cutting machine?? You could print it as a border 

For the main part of my card I have used 

Work and Play 10 - Country Life CD

Using the lovely image Foraging Mushrooms

also available as a digi here

I have coloured the main image with Polychromos

and used pre- coloured dog and fox (how cute are they!)

All the papers, elements and sentiment are from the collection . I just added a few clouds.

I'm not too clever at CAS cards I like to jam pack mine as much as possible, however when flicking through a magazine the other week I noticed one that I really liked , I put my own spin on it and this is what I came up with

I cut out the flowers and banner on my portrait.

The flowered paper and sentiment are from the Twiggy and Toots collection

I then layered it onto a 6x6 card blank using thick foam tape

I could not resist another play with the new cut files from Polkadoodles

Firstly I cut a little basket out on my Portrait

I used paper from 

The Winston Collection CD

Then got to play with the scrummy cut files 

I used Scissor Set 

and

Sewing Bundle

I added some bakers twine to the bobbins and threaded the needles

I had so much fun putting this together

I have cut the files in black just so you can see them more clearly

just love those cutie hangers! and that tape measure looks so very real

Ohhhh a second post from me today

I have just been playing with the lovely new cut files from Polkadoodles

What  lovely sets and an absoloute bargain 

so much so I havent used all of the set yet

Watch this space!!!

I started of using the

Sewing Bundle

and then I added in the  scissors from

Scissor Set

The backing paper I used is from The Rose Budd collection (I added a touch of distress ink around the edge - and it was just a touch as it ran out ) and all the cut outs are using the same paper

I simply added  some lace  and some trim to finish I adore that little tape measure that was just printed out and cut by hand.

For spots and Dots I have again used the lush papers from The Pretty Sweet Collection CD from Polkadoodles, and this time I have used the adorable Piper Playing , 

coloured with Graph'It Markers. There are spots on her Tee shirt and dots on the backing papers, I added a bow, some extra squares from the backing paper, a punched flower and some gems to finish .

 I absolutly adored colouring up this little character Conie Fong's Daisy such a little sweetie, adore her delicate little wings she is perfect for our flower challenge . I liked working with the purple and yellow combo- I think I will be using these colours together more often.

 Mounted onto some lovely papers added some matching ribbon and bling. Finishing off with a little birdie and some flowers with tiny pearl centers.

Pearls and Gems, 

I just love to use both.  I have had the Pretty Sweet collection for ages but only last week discovered some lush papers on it that I totally fell in love with, so much so that I have used them on 3 cards, for upcoming DT projects

 Both papers used are from the collection but I just adore the one with squares and faux stitching  on , it comes in a variety of different colours too. I coloured up Luna using Graph'It Markers ,

 cut out some extra squares and punched some flowers, and pearls and gems to finish.

For my Pink and Pretty project - I cut out a Butterfly on my portrait and decorated it with all lots of lovely bits and pieces from The New CD Work and Play 10 Collection - Country Life,

This week our challenge is to use a die

For my card this week I have used the fantastic Eden collection 

also available as a download - It's also available in lots of smaller collections that you can check out here 

 I used Eden Blossom how stunning is she - I opted to use the pre - coloured image from the CD but you can also buy her as a digi here 

 I used the same die as Caz - Dragonfly by Creative Dies, which was a freebie from a recent magazine.

 Everything used is from the Eden collection the only extra's added was a single lilac pearl to hold the sentiment , my die and the center to the bow xx
