Bubbleicious Dies - Polkadoodles Crafting

Wowser was I in for a treat
Our lovely Nikky from Polkadoodles has just started a new range of dies
belive me when I say you really, really need to check them out
Yesterday my parcel came through from Nikky, to say I am excited is an understament
You will see lots more from me using the dies in the coming weeks
so keep your eyes tightly peeled.
The first thing I noticed was the lush packaging on the dies simply elegant
also if you look on the website there are ideas on how they could be used  a little differently
I love this!
(a cherryblossom die becomes seaweed, who would have thought eh?)
You can find the range of dies
After stroking the packs of dies endlessly , I decided my first project would be a card using the Bubbleicious set - 5 dies in this set

Out came my big shot that is old and ancient , everything cutting through first time I could not belive!! I have a vast range of different dies that often need going through several times and even then the weeding takes normally takes forever, these were simply a gentle tap . I did use my metal shim

So there we are , my one card became 4 - Obviously I have made them using different coloured card/inks  but also changing where I placed the biggest die, endless possibilities.
To give you a good idea I used 6 x 6 card blanks
The oval die was adhered with foam pads
and I used distress Inks -
Milled Lavender, Squeezed Lemonade, Spun Sugar & Tumbled Glass on flowers and leafs
Adding a little ribbon to two of the cards and finished with some little coloured pearls

For those that know me, know I am not a CAS person but I really wanted to show you the beauty of these dies
Ohhhh and before I go , here is a quick pic of my negative scraps , the flower cuts were far to pretty to bin , so a sprinkling of brusho's and a splash of water . I am sure it will become a feature on a future project!

Thank you for looking
xx
