What an absolutly stunning set arrived this month with my Simply Cards & Papercraft.
I adore Christmas and couldn't wait to play
How spoilt were we, embossing folder , stamps and dies!!
To start I used a white A5 centre- stepper card blank.
I covered it in a Christmas red paper leaving a slight border of white showing through.
I die cut the door three times, once in red , twice in white. I wanted the door to stand off the page so used sticky foam tabs to adhere and cut the panels from the red door and adhered with glue
Using Memento ink lady bug I stamped the number, knocker , letterbox and sentiment.
I stamped the lights with Memento black ink and coloured using watercolour paints.
The wreath was again die cut twice to give some depth
The holly leaves were die cut and watercoloured . Once dried I added some ruby red liquid pearls.
I stamped the pots (twice )using Memento gray fog and the plants with Memento bamboo leaf adding again liquid pearls and adhered with foam tabs.
The bows were stamped using lady bug and bamboo leaf dabbed over with glossy accents for shine.
I had tons of fun making this card
And can see a fair few of these being made
Thank you for looking
xx
