Using the wonderful new release from Polkadoodles

There really is so much lushness
It took me so long to decide which to use first
but decided on a shadow box
I cut the box on my portrait
I really did have so much fun decorating it up
I used lots of elements from the brand new exciting USB

Peggy The Whale

Oh what fun did Felicity and I have making this
and we have named it
Peg-gy the Whale
It's for the Polkadoodles weekly game on Facebook
If you want to win a prize make sure to join in here

To make our game we started of by painting a clothes peg , we painted it blue for the sea, and left it to dry . We then gathered our Polkadoodles stamps
We used
A few from the different collections that you can find here
The Whale and the Fish etc (coloured with Polychromo pencils)
But...... here is the fun part ~ The whale has just had her lunch but what has she eaten ..... its another one of the stamps  hmmmm could it be a crab? maybe a fish? Starfish? or maybe something completly different ~ study those stamps and take a guess,( you can guess as many times as you wish but make sure it's on the Facebook page here)
Once the peg is open the answer is revealed.
We finished of using a little netting from our tangerines and a little sparkle of glitter
xx

EEEkkkk exciting news ~ Crafty Ribbons

So Super Excited to say.......
I am now part of the Crafty Ribbons DT

I have always loved Ali's lovely Ribbons and a few years back made various ribbon samples for shows etc ,so it was an honour to become part of the team.
The only problem I can see is what ribbons to choose for my upcoming projects, Oh My drool, drool there are so many to choose from, I have so many ideas I had to start my own notebook.

I have my Granddaughter staying (again) for a few weeks , we just love crafting together, so I let her choose what we should make. We made this on Tuesday after a visit on Monday to the safari park where she had spotted Reindeers so this was quite an apt make.
Using a couple of files from SIL store I cut out the bag and the gift card holder and Felicity glued them together. We added some googly eyes . Felicity made two little red bows and stuck them on , and then adhered the little golden bells.
I attached the ribbon bag handle.

Once the holly was stuck on I gave it a shine of glossy accents.

And this is the lushness we used from Crafty Ribbons
Bows - 7mm Country check
Bag strap and Gift card holder strip - Christmas Owl Ribbon
Button - Basics 2 Go Buttons

Polkadoodles Crafting Challenge

Happy Friday Everyone!
Here today for
*Anything Goes*

For my project this week I have mainly used the lovely collection
Winnie Starfish and Sandcastles
I have made a Pocket page mini album which was cut on my portrait.
I loved using all the delish papers
this really was a labour of Love but so much fun

All the tags were coloured using Polychromo Pencils
Mounted onto cardstock
and then attached different coloured Organza Swiss dots ribbons ~ you can find these here, from Crafty Ribbons

The inside contains more pictures from the collection along with some quotes
(see more in the moving pictures below)

I finished off adding   a charm and some shells
For the seaweed on the front I used the fantastic Cherry blossom die

Starfish & Sandcastles by Felicity

I really wanted to share with you this game that Felicity made
She made it at one of her summer craft classes but as soon as she was home reconstructed it.

Felicity made the background colured with pencils
and used the Polkadoodles collection
for the creatures ( I cut these out for her)
Felicity coloured these
and added randomn numbers to the back of each one
As we wanted the game to last I laminated them (optional)
and then she popped a paper clip on each one so they become magnetic
Using her rod she had made at class
all thats needed here is wood, string and a small magnet
The game was complete
Simply pop them behind the background so no one can see them
dangle your rod and fish away
You could vary the game -i.e the highest number wins
letters on the back - spell something
My little Grandson visited on Sunday he loved playing
Thank you for looking
xx
P.s ignore the numbers on the front I have added those as I am using this for our Polkadoodles weekly game on facebook - why not pop over and join us you could win a prize xx
