Monsters from Polkadoodles

Happy Tuesday

I am here today to share with you more galaxy backgrounds using Distress Oxide Inks

I totally love these, there are so many possibilities

This time I have teamed them up with the Monster Collection from Polkadoodles and made some pretty fun tags

Using a mixture of different coloured Distress Oxides finishing of with faded jeans and black soot around the edges, splashed with water then heat dried. Then I used some acrylic white paint splattered very finely for stars

Finished of with some pre coloured images from monster collection along with some sentiments

secured with some twine and ribbon
( I cut the monsters out twice ~ the second cut in plain black cardstock to give them a shadow)

Happy Monday

I have had so much fun today playing with my distress oxides

I love these sooooo much

I had wanted to try a galaxy effect for a long time and today was the day

I used various colours of distress oxide inks and used black soot and faded jeans to bring it all together.

I splashed with water at the end and dried it with my heat gun . I then used a Posca white pen to dot some tiny stars. For my first try at a galaxy I am pretty pleased I would change a few of the colours next time 

The planet and sentiment and cute alien monster are from Digi Stamp Boutique

Space Adventure Set

This is absolutly amazing value , you get 7 digi stamps plus sentiments

It was absolutly perfect for my galaxy effect.

For the sentiment I edged with Distress Oxides and did a little squiggle around

The planet was painted using silver water colour paint

and the little monster alien was coloured using Graph'It Markers

The Ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons, which I totally love

Well it's half term next week which means I get to have my beautiful Granddaughter for the week and not only is it pancake day it is also valentines day and this is going to be her fun little tag for her gift

They come in a set of 7 (yes 7!!)
but I have just used 3 (for now)

I had tons of fun with this set

fussy cutting them out and decoupaging them up

I used a couple of pink Graph'It Markers for a little splash of colour and a little glitter on the fairy panda (totally love her)

The sentiments were also from Digi Stamp Boutique from the Black Floral Set

Finished of with some twine and ribbon

Woohooo back to share post 2 for today another super scrummy Pancake Missy

This time it's the turn of

I coloured up using Graph'It Markers and Polychromo Pencils  and using one of the papers from Sugar pops 1 did some paper piercing

I also used papers from that collection for my apron box, this was cut on my portrait.

For my first make

I have used Pancake Oopsy

I cut the little cooker out on my portrait

adding a little piece of cloth , some gems and a little clock charm

I coloured Little Pancake Oopsy using Graph'It Markers and Polychromo pencils

Totally love her
