Anything Goes

Happy Friday Everyone!
Here today for
*Anything Goes*

Showing you today a card I have made for my lovely Mother In Laws Birthday . I have used lots of different collections but look how good they all work together. Using Kraft card I cut the dresser on my portrait. I then covered it using the Distress wood papers dabbing a little distress ink here and there. I Framed a photo of my MIL using the frame from Twiggy & Toots Festive Fun. The bag and little hat were borrowed from the Winston collection. And the flowers and butterfly from Rose Budd collection.

Added some lace , pearls and buttons to finish , oh and some little drawer handles ,

Traditional Christmas

Happy Friday Everyone!
Here today for
*Traditional Christmas*

I have used the wonderful Twiggy & Toots Festive Fun, I have made a set of 7 cards all slightly different in one way or another. I have used all pre-coloured bits and pieces adding some glitter and glossy accents here and there. I'm so pleased how these have turned out . They will be sent out in boxes for the Family.

The trees were all cut out twice and mounted with foam pads to add some depth

I made the base from Kraft Card, and then used some lovely gold mirri card

How cute is the little postcard!

Those little Robins are having so much fun dressing the tree

adding in some white pom poms, a small legnth of tinsel
some have buttons added others Gems etc  I have also used stickles and liquid pearls.

O Christmas Tree, O Christmas tree,
How lovely are your branches!
In beauty green will always grow
Through summer sun and winter snow.

Ice Skating with the Penguins

Phew!! What a project this has been - I knew exactly what I wanted to make but not a clue how to make it

Make sure you check the Frosted Winter collection out in the store , It is on Crazy offer!!
CD you can find here

I saw a cut in Sil shop of an ice rink - perfect I thought........hmmmmm no instructions and I could not get it to fit anyway I tried . So a few snips here and there (actually big cut offs) I got it to finally work, Not totally sure if its right but its sturdy and what I wanted
So my Ice Rink was made

I mainly used the wonderful Frosted Winter collection for the images - all pre coloured just added some crystal glitter to them. I used the CD as above but you can buy them as digi images on there own(un-coloured)

Now she was ideal for my project wearing her ice skates

Now the fox did not look quite right in the ice rink so I replaced him with a penguin, She also borrowed some skates from the Ice Queen

I also used
Hollybobs Skater from The Festive Hollybobs collection (she fitted my rink perfectly and soon made friends with the others)

I cut out a few more penguins from Frosty penguins image
and then I was ready.......Half cut cocktail sticks and blu tac at the ready, I was like a child moving them about , once I was happy with where they sat ( I meant skate)  out came the Shimmer glitter jewels that I used for the snow/Ice

Q: What do you call a happy penguin?
A: a Pen-Grin!

I'm in the Club!!!

Woooohoooooo Happy Monday Everyone
I have some exciting news to share
I'm in the club
........

The Colour Therapy Club
Check out all the details right here

As soon as  I joined I knew which beaut I was going to colour up first
I ummmed and ahhhhed about which size to do but not for long A4 it was

If you have read previous posts of mine you will know that when I colour an A4 I mentally break it into quarters - with this one I knew exactly which colours I wanted to use so did it slightly different - all the greens, all the reds etc

I coloured up using Graph' It Markers , (please let me know if you would like the colour combos used) then I used Lyra pencils for detail, also using White Shake'It Marker, Gold Stickles, Glamour Dust and Shimmer Chalks , The background was a light gold chalk it's really lush in real life.

It does not matter which way I take the full photo I can not get it to sparkle hence the trillion smaller pics.

Q. What do the elves sing to Santa Claus on his birthday?
A. Freeze a jolly good fellow
