Here is my last post for today

I made a little card/tag holder

I cut the outer box on my portrait

and covered using the lovely new papers

and some sparkly ribbon

Once you remove the lid you find an array of real quick cards and tags

I have to say since photographing this I changed all the twine to one colour as I felt it was too scruffy

The cards were all made from the paper pad and a stamped sentiment

For the tags I used the stencils with some paste and oxides some I made sparkly

Some I just coloured

I used Distress Oxides for the background

Splashed with water

Masked of for snowy hills and moon

I heat embossed the tree stamp

and used one of the sentiments

Happy Wednesday ~ 

You will see a few posts from me today as our lovely Nikky is back on Hochanda

I am wondering what I will learn new today

When ever I watch Nikky I learn something new

Soooooo Winter Flurries is what it's all about

To start off I made some real simple tags using the lovely 

Winter Flurries papers ~ Heartfelt 

I cut out stocking shapes

For the tops I used some Glitter

The Holly leaves are from one of the stamp packs as is Season Greetings stamp.

I coloured the leaves with Distress ink.

Finished off with some twine, a jingly bell , tiny red pom pom and some shiny snowflakes

Distress Oxides and Stencils background

Happy Tuesday, a little late in the day but I've made a card and I really want to blog it

*excited much*

Nikky from Polkadoodles is now doing stencils whoop whoop and there really fab!!

I have never really been a stencil person although I have a few basic ones I normally just slap a bit of texture paste on job done.....but...... these are so lovely

Nikky did a lovely video on our Facebook group at the weekend , I loved it so much I watched it 3 times , I was trying to soak all the info, colours ,etc etc

Today was the day out came my Distress Oxides 

I used Nikkys card as a guide for my practise, but to be honest I loved it so much it was no longer my practice I had to turn it into a card. 

So the background was made from using 2 of the stencils

I totally love them and so ,so easy to use, My mind is literally in overdrive of what I can make next . It's such a good feeling when your trying something new and thinking I would never be able to do that and there it is , right before my eyes 

So I thank Nikky loads for her inspiration she really has taught me so much

I then used the collection

to finish off my card

This was an absolute blast to make

Today I am sharing with you a card that I made using the pre coloured version of 

Ruby Oo-La-La

I totally adore these new Rubys

I have teamed her up here with papers and elements from 

Belle Papillion Collection

one of those collections you swoon over every time you use it

All I added was some twine to the tag and a smidge of  Hessian

totally team perfect 

Of course I did a little decoupage on Ruby
