One Stitch At A Time

Another nightmare of a week with blogger :-( I do hope it sorts out soon - I get so lost when I cannot play on my blog and I know i am not alone.

For my card this week I have used the lovely image 'Tiny Bubbles' by Stitchy Stamps and the wonderful Photo card from Toucan Scraps (its is part of the collab above), I just love the colours on the photo card.

I have coloured Tiny bubbles with promarkers and Glamour dust on the wings, Lots of timy blue gems around the image.

Raise The Bar

This is our last challenge over at Raise The Bar as we are taking a little holiday so what an apt theme this week - Teachers Pet.

We will be re - opening on August 5th so hope you will rejoin us then.

Teacher's Pet - using any school related image to celebrate the end of the school year

I have used this lovely Mo Manning digi image, coloured with promarkers and glossy accents on the apple, her shoes,glasses and the heart on her bag. I then mounted the image onto black card and added white lettering and numbers for a blackboard effect.

Digital Delights - Think Pink

With all the races going on in the UK and seeing this lovely image, I thought I would make a pink card. My daughter is racing on 11th June so I would like to say 'Good Luck Katie' she normally walks it but this year has been training hard as she hopes to do a half marathon next year - me.... well I cant run for a bus!
I have used the lovely image Think Pink Lara from Digital Delights , the sentiment is also from there. Coloured with promarkers . The DP is papermania capsule collection - red hot , the flowers are also papermania with craftwork cards candi in the middle. The ribbon from crafty ribbons and the pink pearls from make it sparkle. The stickles on Lara's socks are Glam Pink I have also dottet them on her flowers but they dont show too well. A splodge of glossy accents on her nose. The heart pin and small gems are from stash.

I love this image and i tried to keep it delicate looking by adding dots of ice stickles to the seedhead.

Digital Delights -Augustus, Sparky and Shona

For my friends that follow my blog you will probably recognise Augustus the scrummy dragon - this time he is joined by Sparky the knight who looks so terrified and the lovely Princess Shona - they are all charcters from the lovely Digital Delights along with the sentiment which is also from there - you can find all the characters here.
I have used promarkers to colour . Glossy accents on Sparkys shield. Glamour dust around the image om Augustus's wings and on Shons's dress and hat, and around the sentiment, it was lovely to get away with so much glitter. The papers used are Hopscotch .

Hope Your Birthday Rocks

Love these little fella's, The one playing the drums is Jerry kisses Drummer and the other is Ethan Rockstar both from Pollycraft.
I have used promarkers to colour them . And a first for me I have used various peel offs . Never really been a lover of them before but after seeing many stunning cards of late using them thought I would give it a go and am rather glad I did. The photo really does the card no justice as I have used lovely sparkling DP Paper the alphabet stack but the photo just wont make it sparkle. I have used glamour dust on the front star of the drum and Black diamond stickles on the drumstick (something I had brought ages ago and knew I would use it one day). The font used is Jokerman.

I used the stunning image from Tiffany Doodles - Coloured with promarkers and dusted round the edge with distress ink antique linen- the butterfly was punched out run through my dotty embossing folder and again inked round the edge.

I have some exciting news to share - there are some brand new scrummy releases over at DS4J!! I was lucky enough to be able to use one this week to make my card.
The theme this week is Boys! Boys! Boys! - you can enter any project using a boy or man image as long as it is a Digital image.
My Image is Boy in Dungarees. I coloured him in promarkers and used some glossy accents on his shoes. I used distress ink faded jeans, and the candi is from carftwork cards. The papers used are Hopscotch.

How lovely is Fiona and her little dog! These are just two of the images from the stamp set that you can find here.
I coloured them with promarkers and used Glamour dust on her neck tie and socks. Glossy accents were used on her shoes and the doggies nose. The paper was a freebie download that I thought matched perfectly and the ribbon was from Crafty Ribbons.

It's Sunday again - they sure do come around fast. This weeks theme over at One stitch at a time is 'Fancy Folds' as I have done a few stepper cards of late I thought I would do an easel card.

Digital Delights - Baked With Love

For this weeks card I have used the Baking Bears Set, which includes all three bears and the sentiment - How cute are they! My favourite bear is the one with the cake yummy...
I have also used a lovely paper from the matching digital paper pack Made with Love .
Promarkers were used to colour with glossy accents used on there noses, shoes and paws. I used fluffy stuff for the cake icing and a gem for the cherry.
