Christmas Cards

I decided to get ahead this weekend with making some  Christmas cards
These little owls are sooooo very cute and they were a freebie
from The docrafts facebook page
I printed them out onto an A4 sheet and cut each one out.
I then added glossy accents to there eyes, beaks feet and any holly there was. I added white shimmer detail sparkle to the Christmas hats.
I decided on the easel cards, these are my absolute favourite type of cards at the moment.

This one was made using one of the freebie papers that came with the owls.(There are 4 freebie papers)

All of the other cards I have used papers from
(the crackers and bows have all been made from same papers)
I must admit those crackers took me ages they were too small for my fat fingers
The Sentiments are from

I tried to make each card a little different, but of course each one contained at least one of those sweet owls (I attached them with foam tape so they really pop of the card)

It was fun using all my Christmas trims, I love using the little berries and the tiny acorns

I finished off by adding some personalised baubles which I dusted with Barn Door Distress ink

Wow what a great selection of cards, I'm not so generous with embellishments in my Christmas cards, maybe I should have a rethink!
