This weeks challenge is ... Embossing

For my embossing project I decided on a card - I have a few Birthdays ahead so went for a Birthday card using the scrummy Maddie With Present, you can find her as a digi here. I coloured her with Graph'It Markers and a few Polychromos.

 I used to embossing folders from Sizzix - the Happy Birthday one and the Cupcake.

 Added a legnth of ribbon , a couple of gems and some pearl flourishes to finish

I have used the delightful image Oddella with Bag for my card this time - I adore the Oddellas, I have coloured her up with Graph'It Markers, keeping the colours vibrant .

Fairytale Land part 2

Happy Sunday Everyone

As she was going through the wood, she met with a wolf, who had a very great mind to eat her up, but he dared not, because of some woodcutters working nearby in the forest. He asked her where she was going. The poor child, who did not know that it was dangerous to stay and talk to a wolf, said to him, "I am going to see my grandmother and carry her a cake and a little pot of butter from my mother." 

Today I have used another of the new Fairytale images from Polkadoodles

Red Riding Hood

I have used serif for the background , using different elements from a few collections

I then placed Red Riding Hood on printed out and coloured her using Graph'It Markers with a couple of polychromos

These Characters are lovely to colour up , I hope that Nikky will do some more in the future.

But for now I still have 2 to colour.

again this image would look great with the toadstool border that I used yesterday , but for today I took a different route . The sentiment is from the Octavia Collection CD, (printed onto vellum)which is another great love of mine

Happy Saturday Everyone

bit dull and rainy here in the South West guess this is our summer!!

Far toooo wet to be gardening so what better way to loose myself  in the fab new collection from Polkadoodles? Have you spotted it yet

Anyone who knows me would know there was no way I could resist - but who to start with ....after quilte a lot of time spent deciding I went for 

Snow white

How utterly adorable is she !!

I coloured her with mainly Graph'It Markers with a touch of Polychromos here and there.

I decided on a shadow box as going forward thought they would make a great collection, although they take me a while to make so not a project to make all four at the same time!!

I adore using the Toadstool cut border which you can find here -think its a perfect match for Snow White.

The flowers, butterflies, cloud paper and all the elements used are from the Octavia Moonfly Collection - I have just added some bling here and there - The outside of the frame I have used  a sheet from the Distressed Wood Collection

I've used Glossy accents to make the apples shine

For todays make I have used a design sheet from the Work and Play 11 collection also as a download collection here -

 I love using the design sheets exspecially for male cards as I find them hard to do and these sheets take away a lot of the thinking - All pre coloured too so a super quick card. 

All that was added to this one was an extra backing paper and the word laptop which you can find in the emblie section - I also added a small picture of work and play 11 onto the computer screen

It's a great place to show of your colouring, have a natter and most of all have some fun

I discovered this fun colour palette in there - how pretty I could'nt resist joining in 

To colour up I used  Graph'It Markers and polychromos
