I adore Mermaids, I think any card with a mermaid on turns out to be a favourite.

I made this card yesterday,ready to blog for the weekend. It was boiling hot (again) and I have made so many Christmas cards lately - I needed a change, so fans blowing some cool(ish) air I set to work.

It really got me thinking of different colours that I really don't use.

Happy Anniversary

What no Graph'It Markers?

Nope diddly no 

Although they kept wanting to jump into my hands and were screaming at me to use them and colour

I ignored temptation!

A 55th Wedding anniversary is something very special and I wanted to put a lot of love into making my card.

It is for my Sister and her Husband, Sadly we havent seen each other for many years but we are  in phone contact.

The lovely DP I used is Save the Date by Teresa Collins

The Tag, Birdcage, birds and Butterflies were cut on my portrait. The flowers and ribbon are from my stash.

I used Antique Linen Distress Ink and finished off with some White Liquid Pearls

It's Christmas time and a fond farewell

Before I share my card with you today

I wanted to let you know that this will sadly be my last post for Crafty Sentiments.

I joined the team and did my first card on August 4th 2011 funny enough that was a Christmas card too.

About a year or so later I stepped up to DT Co-ordinator

Which I have enjoyed loads 

A fantastic team who have been so supportive 

and I love them tons , a few will stay life long friends I am sure.

But time has come for me to say a fond farewell as I look for ventures new

I wish all the team loads of love and luck

this is a first for me as I wanted to do something a little different to reds and greens for Christmas , but arghhhh I did'nt write the colours down.

All the emblies, sentiment and paper are from the collection.

I have added lots of foam tape for depth

 and finished of with a ribbon and a bow (that took me forever to tie)
